Job Description

Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join their dynamic team. This position is 100% in-office and focuses on efficiently managing accounts payable processes while supporting the financial department.

Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing and processing accounts payable transactions to ensure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Managing vendor relationships, including handling inquiries and resolving discrepancies.
  • Processing and preparing 1099 forms for vendors in compliance with IRS regulations.
  • Recording journal entries related to accounts payable activities in the general ledger.
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Maintaining organized records of all accounts payable transactions.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry.
  • Effective communication skills for vendor management and internal collaboration.
  • Previous experience in accounts payable or related finance role is preferred.

Work Hours:

Monday to Friday, with a first shift schedule.

Benefits:

  • Competitive pay range from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour.
